Basset puppy for adoption
As much as I love her, Petunia deserves a home who can devote the time and attention to her. When I rescued her my intention was never to keep her but to help her and find the perfect home for her. Please feel free to pass this on to family and friends. I will consider someone out of this area ONLY with immaculate references.
Petunia is a spayed female 8 month old Basset Hound puppy. She is looking for a SPECIAL new home. She is purebred but does not have papers available. She has been complete vaccinated for her puppy series, spayed and on heartworm and flea preventative.
Like many basset hounds she had a leg deformity and needed corrective surgery. In early December she had a pin placed to correct her leg and it was recently removed. She goes back to the veterinary specialist in February to see if more surgery will be needed. Also like many basset hounds Petunia’s other legs aren’t perfect. However it is hoped that she will never need surgery.
Petunia is a very happy outgoing puppy. She loves people and really adores kids. She gets along with cats and most dogs. She knows sit, speak and walks fairly well on a leash. She is partially housebroken and will need some work on that.
Rescue is looking for a foster to adopt home for Petunia. Once her currently leg is fully recovered she can be adopted.
Her adoption fee is $200 which covers her medical care thus far and goes toward helping other animals taken in by this rescue.
Approved application, references and home visit required. Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone.

Thoughts on today
Who needs flowers? When I got home today my dogs greeted me with a chewed stick, the stuffing from something, my sock, my mascara and the ear from a stuffed bunny. What more could someone ask for?
I also need to know why a juice box is harder to open than a wine bottle?
